Wondering How This Works?

frequently asked questions

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), with license to perform therapy in Connecticut and Indiana. License numbers: Connecticut LMFT #003412, Indiana LMFT #35002462A

09. Where are you licensed?

I see clients in person in the office located in Carmel at 301 E Carmel Drive, E-800, Carmel, IN 46032.

08. Can I see you in person?

I provide online therapy for people living in the states of Indiana and Connecticut. I use a secure video system that is HIPPA-compliant.

07. Do you offer therapy online?

I respectfully request 24-hour notice. Missed appointments or appointments cancelled without 24-hour notice will be charged a fee.

06. What is your cancellation policy?

In addition to asking questions about what brought you to therapy, my style is to dive into your concerns immediately and to work with you on setting a few initial goals.

05. What can I expect at my first appointment?

Therapy is a great tool that shouldn’t last forever, however, the duration of our time together is ultimately up to you. I’m trained in many different modalities and evidence-based theories that can be tailored to your needs.

04. How long will I need to see you?

At the beginning, I most commonly see clients on a weekly basis.

I have found that it is most helpful to begin with weekly or biweekly counseling appointments because it gives you the opportunity to see growth without feeling like you are starting over at each visit.

However, I understand that circumstances may dictate otherwise. During our initial consultation and the first few sessions, we will determine together what will work best for you.

03. How frequently will I need to see you?

Yes, I offer free 15-minute phone or zoom consultations. Complete the form here to book yours today.

02. Do you offer consultations?

You can schedule here, by phone (317)762-9715, or by email at denaheintherapy@gmail.com
